Meddux Development Corporation Appoints Tony Walsh Business Development Director

Meddux Development Corporation, an engineering, design, and development firm of single-use interventional and minimally invasive surgical devices, has appointed Tony Walsh the company’s Business Development Director, effective May 1, 2020. Walsh will work out of the company’s Colorado facility, and he will report directly to Meddux’s President, Dave Schechter.

Walsh is a seasoned industry leader with 25-plus years of experience in engineering, project management, and business development of complex products and medical devices. He has extensive experience in manufacturing, scope management, risk mitigation, issue tracking, regulatory and quality systems, supply chain management, and resource planning. He has held project manager and senior design engineer responsibilities throughout his career, and has worked at Plexus Engineering Solutions, Solekai Systems, Conexant Systems, and Wind River Systems.

Recently, he was Senior Project Manager of Plexus Engineering Solutions, with responsibility for multiple-disciplinary engineering projects, mainly in the healthcare and life sciences area, including complex laboratory devices, and EMS capital equipment manufacturing.

Walsh earned an MBA from San Diego University and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
